 Hello friends, Welcome to my new blog & one of my favourite city "KOLKATA" .Here I will tell you interesting facts of this 'city of joy' so that whenever you go, you can get full joy.

                            

                         KOLKATA , INDIA first capital city before Independent India. It is situated on the bank of HOOGLY River. City of Joy famous for its hospitality, Known for its beautiful Bangali culture, Food,Sweets and its amazing people.

*This Blog comes in different parts because its will be injustice from city of joy. Because this city have unlimited things in its subdue.

JOURNEY FROM CALCUTTA TO KOLKATA ~

                            This city had been developed by BRITISHERS as an colonial city.It developed like a modern in early 19s.It had been capital of East India colony till 1911.

Now, Kolkata is India's one largest Metropolitan city with highly modern infrastructure and developed city and shopping hub of East Part of INDIA and Sports City of East INDIA.

TOURIST ATTRACTION ~

There are various famous monuments and tourist point to wander in city of joy.

1.Victoria Memorial : This famous monument is built of large white marble with beautiful architecture for Queen Victoria with large greenish area.

 It have been beautiful place for the photogenic people to capture beautiful memory with this amazing monument.

2. BIRLA PLANETARIUM : This is quite interesting place to get know and see the UNIVERSE from this place.

*You are interested in ASTRONOMY, know about UNIVERSE and want to see out of EARTH then you should go there to experience a different and amazing view.

3.INDIAN MUSEUM : Have you ever wonder, Where is the INDIA largest and oldest MUSEUM..Yes, its in KOLKATA .It is not only INDIA but KOLKATA INDIAN MUSEUM is worlds 9th oldest museum.This museum consist 35 galleries of different branches of science. 

*It has rare collection of antiques, armour, ornaments, skeletons, fossils, mummies and mughal paintings, etc.

*Want to see MUMMIES,do not think about EGYPT you are in KOLKATA..

4.Science City :  Very known for local, but tourist get unknown from this amazing place of fun.As the name indicate SCIENCE but do not go fully on Science or study type its a different this is SCIENCE CITY, here you Learn with Fun.
